Occupy Albany has formed the Civil Liberties Initiative to specifically address the continued encroachments on basic freedoms in the wake of a growing surveillance and checkpoint culture. We’re looking for folks who want to say ‘No!’ to this trend.
We seek to tackle issues like the Patriot Act, invasive TSA presence, the NDAA, Intra-national highway checkpoints, and more… If you’d like to get involved, check out our Facebook group or contact us at civilliberties@occupyalbany.org
