Working Group Reports
Legal by Collin: Continues to file for dismissal of City’s injunction, they will meet on Nov 1st, waiting on Soares reelection to close it out. Forming as a chapter of the National Lawyers Guild. Need to wait on update for Jan and other cases.
Jan for Democratize the Economy: Exxon action cancelled until December; Nov 23rd Walmart action. Working with Labor’s Caravan. A discussion of Tactics and the situation regarding the action, no local strikes, workers threatened into not organizing.
Mark for Education: Next Friday’s Movie. Fair Trade Video and Discussion.
Sunday, Nov 18th Future of Occupy discussion; possible idea of having one every month. Possible admission for fundraising, advertize it for new or past voices.
Dec 2nd will be a Forum on Reform vs. Revolution [These two meetings will attempt to work out the stance OA on these issues but continue the debates from the fall a year later.]
