Civil Liberties Initiative
The newly-arisen Fear-Industrial Complex acts as means for the 1% to maintain control and maintain the status quo.
The Civil Liberties Initiative seeks to deconstruct it, and aims to start discussion and direct actions on issues including (but not limited to):
- Protecting due process
- Protecting against undue searches and seizures without probable cause or judicial review
- Preserving Posse Comitatus
- Eliminating government-condoned molestation of air travelers, that especially traumatize children, the elderly and sexual assault survivors
- Eliminating illegal checkpoints run by Border Patrol or TSA well within the confines of the United States
- Rolling back the PATRIOT Act and other new surveillance powers
- Defending against censorship and firewalling of the Internet
- Protecting free speech, the right to protest and peaceably assemble
- Any other threats to civil liberties as they continue to arise
