WHAT: Occupy Albany is built on the peaceful examples set by Occupy Wall Street and the Occupy Together movement. The Occupy movement is organized to address critical issues about the nation’s economic crisis, consolidation of wealth and power, and the ability of citizens to meaningfully participate in a democracy unshackled by the interests of big money.
WHERE: You can find us at the office at 472 Madison Ave, Albany. If we are not there check across the street in Washington Park.
WHEN: We have something going on every day. You can join us for marches, rallys, working group meetings, speak-outs, direct actions, teach-ins, culture jamming etc.
Our General Assembly meetings are Wednesdays at 6pm and Saturdays at 3pm.
